"Nearly Eternity" - On an evening, I brushed my teeth and blood seeped from my gums. Alarmed, I called the local doctor who ordered an x-ray! I was then told to be air-ambulanced to Billings, 300 miles away. While alone in the hospital room, I simply prayed, "God, you created me and I commend my soul and body to you." No sooner had I said that - All fear left me instantly!! I learned later that I should have never made it to Billings - an hour flight away. When admitted to the hospital, nurses were in about every half hour - I didn't know I was supposed to have died as I had NO blood platelets "0" count from lab work done on me previously. Normal blood platelets in a healthy human is 150,000. According to modern medicine, anyone under 30,000 - a body should bleed out! As I was in bed, I felt a trickle in my nose. I touched it with my pinkie. Yes, it was blood - it stopped!!! Later, I felt a trickle in my ear. It too was blood - it stopped as fast as it started! Tests proved it was Thrombocytopenia - the antibodies see blood platelets as the enemy and destroy them. How was it possible I was alive 3 days with NO blood platelets?* WHO carried me for 3 days? If a team of specialists wrote me off - my prayer to God is the only answer - this story should marvel certainly any non-believers!!
