First Lutheran Church Facilities Manager Summary: Under general supervision of the Property Management Committee and direct supervision of the administrative pastor, the facilities manager is responsible to oversee and coordinate facility and site maintenance, operations, activities, and personnel. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: > Oversees and coordinates the maintenance and repair of buildings and building sites including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, snow removal and grounds maintenance; supervises janitorial functions and staff > Enforces facility policies, as approved by Church Council, for church buildings, grounds and resources > Assists with hiring assigned staff, trains, supervises, and monitors the perfor- mance of assigned personnel; ensures compliance with church policies and proce- dures; prepares work schedules, assigns work duties, assists in purchasing needed cleaning supplies, ensures safe work practices, and monitors work flow. > Coordinate work by members/volunteers to do maintenance jobs and projects around the properties.
