1922 In 1922 George Bernard Everson was the original founder of Everson Funeral Home. G.B. Everson attended Valder Business School in lowa and later came to Williston to start the Farmers and Merchants bank. In 1928 G.B. Everson was joined by his son, 1937 Llyod Everson. In 1936 Llyod purchased half the business and later upon his father's death, became the sole owner in 1943. 1965 In 1965, Lloyd's son, George Byron Everson constructed the new funeral home, which is our current location today. 1986 In 1986 Greg Everson joined the family business with his father George. Register Online or in Person to win an IPad. EVERSON-COUGHLIN FUNERAL HOME 2000 In 2000, Seth Coughlin began his apprenticeship under George Everson, after attending mortuary school. He graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. In July of 2014 Seth and Heidi (Brevik) 2014 Coughlin purchased Everson Funeral Home. Seth and Heidi are both Williston Natives. 2019 In 2019, Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home opened up the areas first full service crematory, with separate Human and Pet cremation services. 2022 The tradition of family-owned funeral service will continue as Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home serves the Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana areas.
